Randel (“Randy”) J. Campbell
Randy Campbell has been practicing law since 2000. Before enrolling at Hastings College of the Law in 1997, Randy worked in construction for 17 years. He owned and operated his own contracting business for more than a decade, and is a California licensed contractor in the B–General Building, C20–Warm Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning, and C43–Sheet Metal classifications.
Owing to his professional experience before becoming an attorney, Randy’s practice has naturally emphasized construction law and litigation. His experience handling construction matters includes: construction defect claims, complex multi-party cases, breach of contract, payment disputes, delay claims, general contractor and sub-contractor liability, design professional liability, materials and product defect claims, and toxic tort (mold) claims. He has also handled a variety of personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage cases, including workplace injury, fire claims, and motor vehicle accidents and other accident claims.
Randy has represented individuals and all size business entities, from sole proprietors to multi-national construction companies. Randy has represented: individuals, businesses, commercial developers, property owners, homeowners, homeowner associations, common interest developments, architects, engineers, general contractors, specialty contractors, product manufacturers, and public entities (such as school districts or municipalities).
Randy has brought cases to successful conclusions throughout California using negotiation, arbitration, mediation, and/or trial.
